Clear answers, including the limits
Is SENDbudget really free?
Yes. Core SENDbudget tracking is free and does not require a subscription. The optional Paid plan includes one completed AI-assisted package draft.
When is a Creator Pass used?
A pass is consumed only after a valid draft has been saved. Editing and transferring that draft are free, and a technical retry does not consume another pass.
What happens to documents used by Package Creator?
OpenAI request storage is disabled. Temporary AI files are set to expire and are deleted after generation; transient SENDbudget uploads are also removed after the request completes or fails. See the product privacy notice for the full retention detail.
Can I rely on the AI draft as professional advice?
No. Package Creator organises source material into a starting draft; it does not replace legal, financial, educational or clinical advice. You should review every AI-generated row against the original documents before using it.
Can I delete SENDbudget without deleting SENDSORTA?
Yes. “Delete SENDbudget data” removes only the SENDbudget and EOTAS information in scope. The separate shared-account action is explicitly labelled and requires recent sign-in plus typed confirmation before deleting data from both apps.

The first release is for a small group of UK families actively managing an EOTAS package or SEND personal budget and willing to report what works and what still needs improvement.
